The Lusher family welcomes you to the beautiful Texas Hill country and the Candy Mountain Longhorn Ranch Complex.The headquarters for Candy Mountain Ranch (CMR) and the CMR Longhorn breeding program is located in Llano County on the shores of Lake Buchanan the largest lake in the Central Texas chain of Highland Lakes.
Candy Mountain breeds Longhorns for all suitable purposes such as front pasture show cattle, as well as preserving their bloodline/pedigree and for the pure enjoyment of being around these beautiful and majestic animals. The ranches are abundant with wildlife and provide the optimum habitat for all animals indigenous to the Texas Hill Country. Our wildlife program specifically targets the white tail deer, quail, white wing and morning dove.
